Short Legs Dog Care

For couples who can’t imagine their wedding day without their four-legged family member, Short Legs Dog Care makes it easy to include them without having to worry about who’s holding the lead.

Established in 2017, the Cotswolds-based wedding dog chaperone service now looks after dogs at more than 95 weddings each year. The experienced team is fully insured, DBS certified, and first aid trained, providing dedicated care tailored to each individual dog.

From walking down the aisle and posing for photographs to taking on the important role of ring bearer, Dog-of-Honour, or Best Dog, Short Legs can help dogs be part of as much, or as little, of the celebration as suits them.

Chaperones can take care of walks, feeding, water, rest breaks, transportation, and companionship throughout the day, working alongside venues, photographers, and other suppliers to make everything as relaxed as possible.

It means couples can enjoy their wedding knowing their dog is happy, safe, and being thoroughly looked after.

Because weddings are about having the people you love around you, and sometimes they have four legs.
